Technical Notes:

Maximize your FK8's engine intake system and turbocharger potential with the PRL Motorsports Turbocharger Inlet Pipe Kit. This kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade that eliminates intake airflow restriction before the turbocharger, allowing the turbocharger to operate more efficiently. Our design utilizes a cast aluminum inlet piece to allow smooth transition from the gasket-matched 64mm ID compressor inlet to a 80mm OD / 78mm ID outlet throughout the Titanium crossover pipe. This kit is the largest inlet pipe available and offers over a 50% increase in airflow volume in comparison to the factory inlet pipe! Increased bottom-end power and spool.

      What’s the difference between the standard bore and the big bore
      Standard bore is meant to be used with our standard bore MAF High Volume Intake. The big bore is meant to be used with our big bore MAF High Volume Intake.
      Is this inlet pipe CARB approved or possibly in the process of being approved?
      Sadly, the inlet pipe is not CARB approved.
      Since this inlet pipe is designed to only work with the PRL intake, why do they both come with the silicone hose to connect the two together? Is there an alternative sku for people who already have the PRL HVI installed?
