You see the finished parts. This time, we wanted to show you what it takes to make them.
Our latest video takes you inside PRL Motorsports for a closer look at the people, processes, technology, and craftsmanship behind the performance parts we develop for Honda and Acura platforms.
More Than a Finished Product
Behind every PRL part is a process that starts long before it reaches a car.
From vehicle scanning and CAD design to 3D-printed prototypes, testing, CNC machining, welding, assembly, and quality control, much of that process happens right here at PRL. Our two facilities encompass approximately 32,000 square feet and bring together engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, shipping, and the people responsible for making it all happen.

In the video, we follow that process from its earliest stages. Our engineering team demonstrates how detailed vehicle scans become virtual assemblies, allowing us to design around factory components and available space with incredible accuracy. From there, designs move into rapid prototyping, where 3D printing lets us physically test ideas, refine fitment, and work toward functional prototypes that can be put through real-world validation and dyno testing.
Designed Here. Made Here.
Once a design is finalized, the process moves into manufacturing.
Raw material enters our CNC department and begins its transformation into finished components. Our machining capabilities allow us to produce everything from relatively simple flanges to complex billet intercooler end tanks using multi-axis equipment and automated processes.

Technology is a major part of what we do, but it isn't the whole story.
There is still a tremendous amount of skilled, hands-on work behind PRL products. Our welders fabricate intercoolers, strut bars, front pipes, charge pipes, and more before components continue through quality control, finishing, and final assembly.
Built by Enthusiasts
The machines, technology, and facilities matter, but the people behind them matter even more.
PRL is filled with enthusiasts. Our team owns, builds, drives, and tracks cars of their own. That connection to the automotive community plays a major role in how we approach development because we understand why these platforms matter to the people who own them.

Nearly 15 years after PRL began, the principle behind our work remains straightforward: build parts that solve real problems for enthusiasts like us.
This video is a chance to pull back the curtain and show you more of what happens before a PRL box ever arrives at your door.
