Yes, you read that correctly - there's a new update to our Turbocharger Inlet Pipe Upgrade for the 1.5L Turbo Honda Civic. While 2020 has been a crazy year to say the least, we have been quietly working behind the scenes to improve our initial design since our last post.
The current design will use a cast aluminum elbow to retain the BPV, charge pipe hose and vacuum lines near factory location. Custom molded 4-ply silicone hoses will allow for easy installation and proper fitment. The crossover pipe will be constructed of 76mm Titanium tubing for heat dissipation, weight and aesthetics. You may also notice that the Evap Purge Valve looks a bit different. That's because we will be implementing a new, low-profile piece for simplified manufacturing, installation and an overall cleaner look.
Materials have been ordered and are on the way for prototype manufacturing. We'll be posting more updates as the prototype units are finished and testing begins! Join the mailing list for updates if you have not done so already.
