Overview

Competition Clutch has come to market with one of the best clutch kits available for Honda's 1.5L Turbo, L15B7 application (2016+ Civic 1.5T & 2018+ Accord 1.5T). These clutch kits utilize a larger 240mm diameter clutch disc (same size as the FK8 Civic Type-R) in comparison to the factory 230mm disc for surface area to provide maximum torque hold and a comfortable pedal feel.

 

Technical Notes:

Stage 2 clutch kits feature an organic disc for optimal comfort and smooth engagement - rated for 425 WTQ

Stage 3 clutch kits feature an 8-puck, segmented ceramic disc for race applications - rated for 500 WTQ

Both kits utilize a billet steel flywheel, which is available in two options.

  • Lightweight - 22 lbs
  • Ultra-Lightweight - 17 lbs

Kits come with clutch assembly, flywheel, throwout bearing, alignment tool and all hardware needed to install.

Perfect daily clutch

In love with my competition clutch bought it from them almost 2 months ago and couldn’t be happier!! Also highly recommend getting the ultra lightweight flywheel!

Competition clutch stage 2 lightweight flywheel

Amazing!, 0 chatter, even OEM clutch chatters but not this one. Pedal feel is stiff and short travel. This is my 3rd clutch first one was a Clutchmaster it didn’t came with pilot bearing it gave me problems in less than 5k miles, second one was a SPEC clutch hated it locked gears after 5k rpm’s. This is the way to go. Perfect for daily drive. Love it. I have flex fuel, Hondata +9 psi, intake, intercooler and downpipe.
