"Excellent"
Fits all 2017-2021 Civic Type-R FK8
Fits all variant models including RHD, International Models, Etc.
Overview
This sensor replaces your FK2/FK8 MAF sensor to increase the MAF air metering range from 300 g/s to 500 g/s. With a stock MAF you will reach the maximum range with a stock turbo, airbox and bolt-ons. When this happens the fueling becomes inaccurate.
The Hondata CTR MAF 500 accurately measures 60% more air with the stock airbox, which allows you to tune up to around 640 hp.
Installation involves unplugging the stock sensor and re-using the same two Phillips head screws to install the new sensor. A Hondata FlashPro modification file is provided with this sensor.
A must-have bolt on for the Civic Type R.

Q&A
- I have a prl HVI with race MAF housing with the stock MAF. I have a flash pro, but I don't see in the list prl HVI race + hondata MAF 500. I do see a mod for stock intake + hondata MAF 500. Do I need it if I have a flash pro since it already adjusted for the intake and race MAF? Oh I have a 21 Type R. Thanks.
- Greetings. The MAF 500 & HVI Race are not compatible. Your tuner will not be able to scale the idle properly.
