Overview

The PRL High Volume Intake System for the 2018–2025 Ford F-150 5.0L is designed to eliminate factory intake restrictions and feed your engine the airflow it demands. Featuring dual 4-inch roto-molded intake runners with integrated bell-mouth filters, these tubes merge into a large 5-inch outlet that feeds directly into the throttle body, ensuring smooth and consistent airflow throughout the system.

The oversized airbox offers significantly more volume than the OEM unit, sealing to the hood for a direct cold air feed. With precision fitment and OEM-quality mounting, this is a bolt-on system built for real-world performance whether towing, hauling, or driving wide open.

Dyno testing on a bone-stock 2019 5.0L F-150 showed consistent gains through the middle and upper RPM range. On average, the PRL intake produced +18.62 horsepower and +15.14 lb-ft of torque at 4,266 RPM, maintaining substantial gains through redline. Average peak improvements of +13.1 horsepower and +16.02 lb-ft of torque were also recorded.

During testing, the PRL intake achieved maximum figures of 359.29 horsepower and 367.38 lb-ft of torque, compared to 345.49 horsepower and 349.27 lb-ft with the stock intake. That's an improvement of up to +13.8 horsepower and +18.11 lb-ft of torque at peak output. The intake is designed not only for peak numbers but also to deliver consistent power throughout the middle and upper rev range.
