The Acura RDX is known for its balance of performance, refinement, and everyday drivability. Yet under the hood, there are areas where factory design decisions limit potential. One of the most overlooked components is the turbo inlet system. Built largely from plastic and rubber, the OEM setup suffers from restrictive flow paths, corrugation, and materials that degrade over time in the heat of the engine bay.
PRL Motorsports set out to address these shortcomings with a comprehensive solution: the Titanium Turbo Inlet Pipe designed specifically for the 2019–2025 Acura RDX.
Why Redesign the Turbo Inlet?
Airflow efficiency is a critical factor in how well a turbocharged engine performs. From the air filter to the compressor wheel, any restriction or turbulence affects response and output. The factory RDX inlet uses corrugated tubing and narrow diameters that disrupt smooth airflow. Plastic and rubber also lose integrity over time, leading to cracks, warping, and a less refined look in the engine bay.

The PRL Titanium Turbo Inlet Pipe rethinks this path with larger diameters, port-matched transitions, and a smoother induction design. The result is increased efficiency from filter to turbo, reduced turbulence, and materials engineered to last the lifetime of the vehicle.
Motorsport-Grade Materials
This system isn’t just functional — it’s built with a focus on strength and presentation. Each kit combines:
-
Cast 6061 aluminum for the turbo inlet body, ensuring precision, rigidity, and excellent thermal characteristics.
-
Titanium pie-cut and welded crossover pipe, replacing the OEM plastic unit with a lightweight, high-strength piece designed for consistent flow.
-
304 stainless steel brackets and hardware to secure everything in place.
-
PA66 injection-molded plastic fittings and multi-layer silicone couplers to integrate seamlessly with the RDX’s evaporative and cooling systems.

By combining these materials, the system maintains factory-like reliability while offering a significant step forward in both durability and aesthetics.
Drop-In Installation
Performance doesn’t have to come with complexity. The Titanium Turbo Inlet Pipe was engineered as a direct drop-in for the 2019–2025 Acura RDX. Custom-molded evaporative and coolant lines replicate OEM routing for a factory-style fit, while every kit includes gaskets, seals, and a complete hardware package. No ECU calibration is required; everything works as it should from the moment it’s installed.
A Complete Solution
The Titanium Turbo Inlet Pipe provides more than flow efficiency. It transforms a key part of the RDX’s intake system into something durable, visually refined, and built with purpose. Plastic and rubber make way for titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and silicone; components chosen to stand up to heat, time, and performance demands. For RDX owners who want an intake path that performs as well as it looks, this system delivers.

Excellent, thanks for the parts
Was curious for the customers that already purchased the $150 rdx stage 1 intake system, will you offer a cheaper kit that doesn’t include that? Cause I would just have a duplicate pipe so no point in purchasing this
