As many of you have seen, manufacturers in all markets have been experiencing major delays since early 2020. Somehow, someway, the PRL Motorsports team and our supply chain have been able to keep up with the market’s rapid growth and shortages surprisingly well given the circumstances. However, over the past few weeks we have been informed of many delays along the supply chain – from catalytic converter substrates, raw/mandrel bent tubing, intercooler cores, sheet-metal/plate, miscellaneous hardware, clamps, silicone hose couplers, rotomolded components, you name it. For the first time EVER, we are experiencing delays in raw aluminum bar-stock. Due to these delays we have been forced us to mark various products out of stock and increase lead-times.
Though, we are awaiting for many shipments of material to arrive, there is still plenty of work to be done around the shop. The PRL team will remain busy as ever fabricating, machining and packaging products to fulfill whatever is possible or put in que. Our product development team has quite a few new projects in the works and many more to begin once some new chassis are available.
For any of our customers who have been or will be affected by these delays, we sincerely apologize the inconvenience.
